Brief introduction: My name is Trent Pinkston. I am a young Black man at the age of 27. I am Chicago born, but I’ve lived in Milwaukee since the age of seven. I am a very happy, fun, spontaneous and adventurous person. Although I am outgoing, I enjoy the simple things in life. I enjoy music, reading, exercise, sports, and making chances to better myself as a person. I am a God fearing man. He is my strength. I know all things are possible through God. I am a respectful man, very patient and understanding. I am well rounded emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. I am studying to be a personal trainer. That is my passion, I love working out, staying in shape, and being healthy; but most importantly, I enjoy helping others get into shape, gain optimum health, feel good, and have more confidence about themselves. I think that we are all beautiful people, we just have to love ourselves for who we are and not what others want us to be.

I am single at this present moment. I am seeking a friendship with someone that I can write, talk to, and get to know better. The door is totally open for a relationship if you are the right woman and I am the right man. I hope to meet that woman who will complete me, that woman I can share my utter essences with and she is my friend, as well as my significant other. I like to meet someone who can get to know me-who I am on the inside and I want to get to know that person too.

This is the perfect time for me to build a relationship. It gives me the opportunity to get to know a woman outside of sex. I am a deep person and I seek much more that that. My time is coming to an end. I want to have someone in my life upon my release. I hope to meet that special woman and make connection with her. We have a Post Office Box you can use if at first you do not want to use your own return address in writing a prisoner. Make sure you give us your real address , however, so we can forward the prisoner's mail to you.

Who We Are

FFUP (Forum for Understanding Prisons) is a a small and dedicated group of prisoner supporters. We write and visit prisoners, advocate for them and work with their families. While attempting to help these men and women survive their incarceration ordeal, we also work on the larger issues to help bring about a justice system built on respect for all and belief in healing.

Here in this blog , we are trying to put a human face on our prisoners.
